Aim and Scope

The Journal of the Anthropological Society of South Australia publishes original research, reviews, and interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of anthropology, archaeology, history, linguistics, and applied sciences. The journal emphasizes the integration of scientific, engineering, and technological approaches to cultural, material, and environmental research. Areas of interest include archaeological science and materials analysis, geoarchaeology and geotechnical applications, remote sensing, GIS, and computational methods, heritage conservation engineering, environmental and sustainability studies, forensic and bioengineering applications, and innovative technologies in anthropology and archaeology.
